And while I agree with the points on dubbing and score and even the "why" for the characters, I actually liked the 2 characters and the performances. Also liked that they did not explain a lot of what they were thinking and it was said in their eyes. Correct me if am wrong, but Irfan's character was not a widower and was never married, right?

2024-07-30 20:53:57 +0000 UTCKorbin- “aliyaa” in Malayalam doesn’t mean “friend” 😂. “Aliyan” means brother-in-law and malayalees use “aliyaa” for “hey bro”… you can’t call Parvathy your aliyan. 😁 there are so many words for friend in different parts of Kerala. Some common word are “changaayi” in north Kerala, “Gaddi” in Thrissur, “aliyan” mainly for male friends in many places. Proper word would be “koottukaran” (male) and koottukari (female). “Suhruthu” is a word used in literature.
