Question
Added 2024-09-04 03:12:46 +0000 UTCOnly asking because I’ve seen it get commented with lots of upvotes where do you stand on us going to the movies for films as opposed to waiting for some to come to steaming so we can do a watching a long with you guys?

Theatre should be priority. Also watchalongs for older films, films that you are rewatching or new series like Angry Young Men or IC 814.

2024-09-05 17:06:14 +0000 UTCI think if it's new and, in the theater, you should go and watch it on the big screen. Get the full experience and give your review. There are plenty of older and streaming movies for watch alongs.

2024-09-05 01:02:24 +0000 UTCTheaters for review please. You shouldn't miss theater experience if you get FDFS for big films. I only watch the watchalongs if I have already seen the film and liked it. Watching a film for the first time on my computer on a 4 inch screen is not a great way to see a movie for a first time. especially the kind of films that are fun watchalongs.

2024-09-04 13:09:09 +0000 UTCTheatre experience always the best, especially for big/hyped movies. Don’t mind reviews for them at all

2024-09-04 12:25:00 +0000 UTCReviews for cinema releases. Watchalong's for film/series on streaming (depending on what it is).

2024-09-04 11:58:20 +0000 UTCTheatre for new releases, watchalongs for older films

2024-09-04 11:16:34 +0000 UTCDon’t miss out on the theater experience just for watch alongs. It would be selfish of Patreons to expect that from you. Enjoy going to the movies.

2024-09-04 10:20:59 +0000 UTCDon't WAIT for the streaming is the bottomline. Don't miss the joy of watching in theaters whenever it's possible. I've no complaints thus far .

2024-09-04 10:20:31 +0000 UTCEnjoy the theatre experience please.

2024-09-04 08:41:44 +0000 UTCTheatre, always. That experience can't compare to watching in OTT.

2024-09-04 07:24:58 +0000 UTCHonestly, with the concept of watch alongs now, I love watching movies like this and not alone. I mean obviously going to the theatres is a whole different experience but then I prefer more watch-alongs because they’re more fun and then we can watch those movies together!

2024-09-04 06:54:57 +0000 UTCI love the watchalongs. But if you get the chance to watch the movie in theatre please don’t miss that.

2024-09-04 05:37:03 +0000 UTCDo more watchlong so most of us could enjoy.

2024-09-04 05:19:42 +0000 UTCYou already have a good balance. My personal preference is watch along. I do not go to theatres a s watch new releases. So I’m not missing anything. I prefer watch along.

2024-09-04 05:08:45 +0000 UTCCurrent format works. Watch movies in theatres whenever you can.

2024-09-04 05:01:13 +0000 UTCmaybe an unpopular opinion but I kinda wish we got watchalongs for some of these movies. Love your review for stuff like Jailer/Salaar but tbh watchalongs for those would be way more enjoyable content than just one review video. But of course, who knows if you guys wouldve like those movies if not watched in theaters

2024-09-04 04:43:52 +0000 UTCWatchalong please.

2024-09-04 04:23:30 +0000 UTCYou missed amazing concerts here in Summer .. Shreya Ghoshal, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu - all performed in LA and near by .. that would have been amazing
Reva
2024-09-04 03:59:31 +0000 UTCI like watch alongs. It’s fun to watch the film and your reaction but some films will be better for you in a real theater. I’ll say just play by ear depending on the film.
Kiru
2024-09-04 03:49:42 +0000 UTCNot every movie ends up on streaming platforms available in the US, so honestly theater makes more sense But if its an awesome movie, maybe watchalong with steph/indrani when it does come to streaming

2024-09-04 03:36:40 +0000 UTCOn that Topic would love it if you watched Nani's Saripodha Sanivaram if it's playing near you guys...already seen it 3 times...it's a great film...if you can make the time i promise it'll be worth it

2024-09-04 03:30:48 +0000 UTCMalayalam movies? This question doesn’t even come up but.. if you wanted to go see it in the cinema and couldn’t please do prioritize it for a watch along.. Turbo is an example of this 😇
MayaR
2024-09-04 03:26:08 +0000 UTCIf a film that warrants a theater experience is running near you, please do watch it. Otherwise always prefer a watchalong
vishnu chandran
2024-09-04 03:24:00 +0000 UTCDepends on the film. Some deserve a big-screen review and breakdown sooner. Others better for watchalong on OTT later
AJk21
2024-09-04 03:20:14 +0000 UTCWe would love for you guys to do a watch along however we do not want you guys to miss out on the euphoric community viewing experience that you get exclusively in theatres. So for the films that you have the opportunity to view in theatres, pls go ahead. We have enough films to see as watch along with you guys.
Babloo
2024-09-04 03:19:26 +0000 UTCAlways theatres . I personally understand that why people want you to wait on stream so that they can enjoy it with you guys . But personally i feel you get 100% of what filmmaker intended to do, only in theatres. So for you to enjoy a film first should be the priority. Especially the big event films that drives on background music , cinematography etc . (Imaging yourself watching RRR for the first time on watch a long . Not even 50% of the experience that you guys had in theatres)
dhananjay sharma
2024-09-04 03:18:56 +0000 UTCA movie like Jailer for example. It’ll be great for you to go to the cinema and give a review (as you did) , but perhaps either one of you could also do a reaction of the movie with someone who hasn’t seen it and not familiar or new to Indian cinema. So we get both.
Wesley A
2024-09-04 03:18:09 +0000 UTCWatch in theatre if you can first.
Api
2024-09-04 03:18:08 +0000 UTCI think it varies from movie to movie. Atleast for the major releases of the year, I think you can take poll before to see what the audience wants for that particular movie. Just a suggestion.
Awanish Kumar
2024-09-04 03:17:58 +0000 UTCUltimately we want you to enjoy first and when there is a chance for you to experience it at it's best, then you should do that!
Sibi Naayagam
2024-09-04 03:17:47 +0000 UTCPrefer watchalong as long as it is done. Cuz some movies you wanted to go see in theatres for example "Crew", but since that couldn't happen, you never watched it and we don't have a watchalong of it either. So as long as it is prioritized as a watchalong once it's out on ott there shouldn't be a problem
Jen
2024-09-04 03:17:21 +0000 UTCPeople will always complain no matter what you do. Don't wait for OTT unless you can't watch in theatre
Mahendra Dhas Vaishnav
2024-09-04 03:17:00 +0000 UTCWatch alone would be definitely better. However some movies are meant to be enjoyed in theaters. So don't hesitate going to theaters. Do what you are doing now.
