Loved your reaction to this! I loved this film when it came out but so many people at the time skipped over it. Please keep watching Dhanush films!! I will defo watch these watchalongs whenever it’s his film!

2024-08-11 23:01:23 +0000 UTCDisapointing the end credits didn't identlify where is was filmed. Just list "Africa" not the country. My guess though based on the African actors accents and some of the African crew names this was filmed in Southern Africa (RSA, Botswana, Angola maybe)

I even posted on Facebook, calling it a class movie with a great performances , and I urged everyone to watch it. Sadly, no one was on board back then. But now, years later, it makes me so happy to see this movie finally getting the appreciation it deserves. Even though it’s still underrated, I’m glad more people are recognizing its brilliance.

Slowing evolving.. Maybe it will take two more generations to bring it down to 25%.... That saddest part is, even though being a woman, mother in laws encourage such behaviours..

2024-08-11 08:14:23 +0000 UTCi loved goat life but i didnt like this movie the opposite of what you people reacted .goat life i watched it like 5 times . this movie had many similarities to mani ratnam movie kadal which just came before that almost many similarities .you should react to the hidden details of goat life sometimes you need to rewatch the GOAT life movie in order to understand certain things in that movie . this was just a one time watch for me . GOAT life had orginality while there was many same theme in this movies which was there in most tamil movies at that time .rather than reacting to this average movie.you could have reacted to aadukulam dhanush vetrimaran movie, which is a classic . also vettrimaran movie visaranai. aadukulam got so many national awards ,Dhanush got national award for his acting in aadukulam , vetrimaran got for best director and its also got best music,screeplay and editing award.while visaranai got national award for best feature film ,editing and supporting actor. it also got amesty international award and oscar nominee from india

2024-08-11 02:33:11 +0000 UTCTo correct, pani in tamil means mist/dew. Panimalar would loosely translate to flowers with dew. So it definitely relates to water but the etymology would be way off from pani in hindi(water). Parvathi was literally and metaphorically panimalar in the movie.

I have met Dhanush before, I'm around 5'11 (179cm) he was maybe an inch or 2 max shorter than me. Which puts him around 5'10 roughly I guess. You can compare him with Ryan or Chris from grey man presses I guess if you really wanna analyse haha.
