Agreed on the trio combo - 25% of the reason I like 'Mohanlal films' - his ability to pull off classical Indian arts - classical music, dance, drama. He is very rooted in Indian arts.

This singer has probably sang 50% of his songs for Mohanlal because of the uncanny resemblance people felt. His voice always suited Mohanlal more than other singers like K J Yesudas. He has a lot of such “breathless” kind of songs in his career. You have seen one such earlier in the channel - “padakali” from Yodha composed by A R Rahman. M G Sreekumar also sang the opening Malayalam verse of Jiya Jale from ARR’s Dilse where SRK dances with elephants 😃 MGS sang a few Hindi songs as well in a few Priyadarshan-directed movies - one of them “mere dholna” from Bhool Bhulaiyya with Shreya Ghoshal. Fun fact: Mohanlal, MGS and Priyadarshan are all from the same college in Kerala and that’s where the creative genius began.
