XGALX actually did have plans to give AIRI a solo career, but it was going to be after they 'refined' XG more and got them up and going. The 'timeline', for that was to long, so AIRI left XGALX and went out on her own, using her name Kamiya. I heard, one of the reasons why they let AIRI go, was because the other members were relying on her to much. They needed the other members to be "stronger', and not rely on AIRI so much.
