Sakura wasn't afraid to sing and perform in front of people before the hate started happening, starting with Produce 48 and IZ*One. Then it got more severe with Le Sserafim where Kazuha and Eunchae were also getting targeted for it. Sakura has always been a good singer, performer, and dancer since her Japanese group. Westerners and some K-Netizens fault them for small things, when they have the lipsync for performances, or when they go a little off-key/pitch or their voices crack during live stages. Sakura has been in the industry a long time and it wasn't until they got more popular worldwide through IZ*One and Le Sserafim that they started getting unreasonable hate. Sakura and Chaewon have always been good at what they do and they were ready for debut for Le Sserafim. It's other people who made Sakura lose her confidence in herself. They think saying comments online or making their edits wont hurt someone who's been in the industry since they were 12 and wont affect them, but forget just how much words can affect people. It's why she requests the least amount of lines.
