2025-01-01 17:16:32 +0000 UTCFor most international fans Power Up is one of least liked title tracks, simply because it's almost *too* red (especially coming right after Bad Boy, which attracted lots of Velvet fans). But it's one of their most successful comebacks in Korea, they sweeped the charts (archiving their and SM's first PAK!) and music shows (10 wins total!). It was crazy popular, and cemented them securely as Summer Queens. The song was also released during one of the hottest korean summers, that's why there's so much melting at the beginning of the MV. Two days before the release of this mini album, they also held their second concert in Seoul and performed each song of the album there! That's why every song has a choreo and we got so many stages as promotions. That era was truly blessed. Also iconic how they got to perform Blue Lemonade as a special stage a whole year later :D
