A bad night
Added 2024-06-26 08:47:52 +0000 UTCSo I am in the ICU at the hospital right now because I had something like a precursor to a stroke, like a mini stroke. I have been losing and regaining use of my right arm and leg over and over. They are keeping me for 24 observation because of the possible surgery effects of the medication. They seem hopeful that I will not lose function.
It is scary and frustrating. Part of me is worried about finishing the pride picture I was working on. Part of me is afraid of what if I lose the ability to draw?
I will post more when I know more. Thank you for your support.

But it sounds like you caught it early, and while hospitals are no fun, the important thing is that you're where you need to be to get better, and they're giving you the care you need. 2024-06-26 10:48:59 +0000 UTCSorry to hear. I went through a similar thing and can advise that as soon as you feel up to it, practice with your hand and exercise. They make a type of putty you can use for hand exercises. It helped me a lot
