Snapshots from a Weekend in Tokyo ☀️

Hey guys! Hope you've had a nice weekend 🤗

Apologies for no new video this week, I actually went down to Tokyo a few days ago for the purpose of filming a rooftop picnic vlog, but something came up and one of my friends was having a rough time so we just spent it chilling together instead of filming. 

I got some Neko Neko Post work done, and got to catch up with a few good friends while I was down there so that was really nice. As mentioned in my previous post here, we're working in collaboration with an amazing German artist, Djamila Knopf, on a second batch of Cat Rescue Charity Postcards! We just received the order from our printer and they're absolutely gorgeous! 

Djamila was so kind to donate her artwork to be used for these postcards, I hope they sell well and we're able to raise lots of money for charity. I'll be adding them to the Neko Neko Post Shop later this month💌

 Got to check out a pretty little tea shop that I've been wanting to go to for ages with Mikan (みかんMikan on YT) It's called Mariage Frères! 

There were HUNDREDS of tea flavours to choose from. I couldn't pick one so I asked the staff for their recommendation and apparently the most popular tea in both Japan and France is the Marco Polo - a black tea with a hint of fruity and floral flavourings. I love flavoured black tea and this one certainly didn't disappoint! I think I'll be ordering some when I'm finished all of my Yorkshire Biscuit Brew 👀☕️

The hydrangea are starting to pop up because rainy season has started! Look how pretty they are✨ Living in Japan has really made me appreciate the different seasons, I think it's the variety of seasonal flowers/snacks/fruits that are available that make it so fun. And that's Emma (tokidokitraveler on YT and Twitch) looking gorgeous in her summer dress🌷

PS - The postcard design contest will be starting later this month! I'm still collecting items for the prizes and want to get it all together before starting🤗
