In general everyone is quite helpful here and even if they were unable to help you I think they would pass you on to someone who could!

Someone who was my surrogate mother tragically passed away last week, and the medical examiner's office is having a very difficult time finding/contacting next of kin. She has an aunt in the southern part of Kyushu, Japan, who is in her 80s. Do you know anyone near Kyushu? Ot have any suggestions? Thank you.
