Video and Life Update

Hi, everyone! It's about 10:30am on Monday here, and I am home from work with some sort of virus (gotta love those back-to-school germs 😭😭😭). I actually had a wonderful weekend, but I started feeling pretty crummy last night. I thusly apologize for the late videos. I will get them out as soon as I get a burst of energy (I've been sleeping most of the day). As always, thank you for your patience.

At any rate, I can give you guys a little more information now, so I wanted to share this picture with you! This is a candid shot taken by one of my TAs, and I think it shows just how happy I am. As an actress, I am able to put on a fake smile, even a fake laugh. But my husband always says there's something very special about my real smile...my genuine laugh. And this is it, y'all. I have never been so happy or fulfilled in a work setting. I never imagined I'd be doing this, but it is just what I needed. Mentally, I haven't been this healthy since college. I am managing my OCD really well and I am much less anxious and depressed overall.

I will give you more details as I am able. I love you all so much, and I am so grateful for your continued support as I navigate this new adventure in my life. I am also so happy that y'all are here to talk about English-y things with me. I am teaching much younger kids now, so I don't get to talk about metaphors and examples of alliteration. I love the moments that we, here on Patreon, have deep discussions about characterization and themes and motifs.
