3D Loading Screen w/ Animated Models and Tooltips
Added 2023-09-20 13:51:06 +0000 UTCNormally after a map loads, there are several seconds of a black screen the player has to sit through before it fades out. I've replaced this with an animated loading screen to show off some of the weapon models I've created for the project. Both the model and the tooltips are randomly chosen each time the player loads in. This is a "real time" loading screen, not a video or 2d images.
The lighting/background/animations are still being tweaked. It might be possible to make this interactive and have the player move the model around, but that's something I'm going to have to look more into.
