Here is the full tutorial for how to work your upper shoulder ledge, known as the upper trapezius. This guy is the one you're always tempted to squeeze, push on, etc. It's THE SPOT. And it really is too, because releasing tension in the upper trap ledge can completely change how your neck and shoulders feel as a whole unit.
This is one of my favorites to do any time because a.) I don't block the TV when I do it [points for my husband, Trevor] b.) I'm extremely lickable down on the floor [points for my dog, Panther] c.) I'm inviting fun play on a rolling object [points for my 3yo, Atticus} and MOST IMPORTANTLY I AM WORKING OUT THIS TENSION IN MY BODY - POINTS FOR ME! ;)
