I actually finished both of these before leaving on the trip so that there wouldn't be lots of pressure upon return, so here's what we're actually working on at the moment.
I'm working on a 14" laptop CPU comparison between the Apple M2 Max and AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS processors, using the MacBook Pro 14 and Razer Blade 14. I'd like to do throw Intel into the mix, but we only have an i7-13700H in the MSI Stealth 14 at the moment and I think an i9 would be better, given the AMD and Apple options are the best they offer at this size.
I've also started thermal testing for the MSI Stealth 14 and XMG Neo 16 today (with and without liquid cooler, so that doubled testing time). I'm hoping to have the Stealth 14 review ready for next week.
Otherwise I bought a Lenovo Legion Slim 5 last week, and we've started on that today. They only had the Intel version available to borrow, and we've been getting a lot of comments about the AMD version, so just bought it.
We might need to buy the ASUS TUF A15 for the same reason, for some reason the ASUS Australia team isn't able to lend us one. I'm trying to confirm with a higher-up team in Taiwan first before I go ahead and spend another $2000 AUD though.
