23rd: i9-12900H vs i9-12900HX - Do you actually need 16 cores?
Those videos are ready to go, so this week I'll be focusing on the Legion Slim 7i. We're planning on making a game benchmark video and the review, all testing is done so now I just need to do everything else which will take a few days.
In the background I'm also retesting a bunch of Ryzen 2000/3000/5000 CPUs in preparation for some comaprisons with the new 7000 stuff.
My partner finished testing the Acer Helios 300 at the end of last week, but I probably won't be able to get to it until late this week or early next week. She's starting on the Acer Nitro 5 today, but otherwise she's been busy working on a bit of a secret project 👀 all I'll say for now is it involves a new website around gaming laptop stuff.
After those Acer laptops are done, we've still got the Alienware x14 and ASUS Flow x16 here to work through. I'm trying to get the TUF Dash F15 from ASUS and literally anything from HP still as they're the only company we haven't been able to cover at all this year. After that we're probably done for the year in terms of gaming laptop reviews, but that should be enough content to get us through to late November in any case.
