Mixology March continues with a New Orleans classic in the Sazerac. My recipe stays true to the original cocktail, while bringing up the proof juuuust a bit to bring the flavors over the top.
Rinse your Rocks Glass with Absinthe (110pf)
In a mixing glass, pour in 1.25oz Rye Whiskey (Over-proof recommended), 1.25oz Brandy or Cognac, 2-dashes of Angostura Bitters, 3-dashes Peychaud's Bitters. Strain into your rocks glass, neat. Garnish with a large lemon swath.
