TopazGryph: Components Get!
Added 2017-05-12 08:27:04 +0000 UTCAll this month is going to be wonderfully active for you guys as I tackle this next costume project! I just received the components to build a realstic version of Topaz the gryphon from my friend Crystumes, who cast me a copy of her falcon resin blank and tossed in a few other things to help me get working. The plan is to have at least a realistic head done in time for Biggest Little Fur Con (BLFC) at the end of this month to match my boyfriend's suit. Crystumes built a gorgeous gryphon head for him with it last year, and this was even the project the resin base was originally made for: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/20374144/
I will attempt to post here for some of the bigger updates, but I do want to find a way to share a full gallery of progress photos with you guys that's Patreon-exclusive, as I won't be posting as many public WIP photos as I have in the past. Trying to find a good gallery site that is password protected to do so and open to suggestions. But the most active place for updates will definitely be the Patreon and Discord chats (if you're a $5+ supporter and haven't been added to these chats please let me know!)
I will be also be creating the tail, both toony and realistic versions of the armsleeves, bodysuit, toony head, realistic articulated arm wings with EL wire edges (like the wings Sora made for himself: https://twitter.com/CanineHybrid/status/852422911784779776 ) and special snowboard feet for Topaz so I can swap out all the components for different events, situations, and looks... all planned for completion this year and with different priorities.
Soooo I HOPE YOU LIKE GRYPHONS, you're going to see a LOT of them!
