Hi Everyone,
This weeks Community Challenge is simple: Write something in the key of D Major.

When I say "Something" I literally mean "a thing" or "a small little musical idea" or "a half baked blob of music." If you start out with the intension of writing a whole song - especially if you're not very experienced with writing - you'll often get overwhelmed or frustrated or feel like you're wasting your time. If you sit down to just write "something" you'll often be surprised that you like it, or you'll feel like you didn't waste much time. Except here's the thing: if your goal is to be a better musician, it's literally NEVER a waste of time to spend a few minutes trying to write something. It's always useful.
