Also, feel free to link a video of you playing if you have a technique question!
I'll do my best to answer your questions and give examples of how you develop skills related to your question.

2024-02-15 18:16:30 +0000 UTCHi Scott, I'm working on the major and minor scales in Music Theory for Guitar. When I have an E major scale, would the E and A chords be EM end AM? And in the E minor scale, Em and Am? Or am I lost here. Tks

2024-02-15 17:39:26 +0000 UTCHi Scott. I'm still having trouble hitting an open G chord then immediately striking a D without the D being out of tune. When holding an open D chord, where does the force to fret the strings come from? Do I pinch with the thumb at all or is it more pulling my left elbow back like barring a chord?
