Also, yeonjin wasn’t ignoring her daughter, she just didn’t want her seeing her smoke. She isn’t her true self around her husband and daughter. They don’t know that side of her.

There are going to be a lot of questions with this drama, but the beauty of it is that it all unravels as you progress through it. Be okay with not knowing what’s going on just yet—trust me, it’ll start to make sense later. It’s so well done that there will be no plot holes or empty space. Trust the process 🤗

Along with what everyone else is saying, if you go back to the scene in the gym where Dongeun and the bullies talk about their dreams for the future it’ll tell you who is who. Yeonjin wanted to be a wife, Sara wanted to be an artist, Hyejeong wanted to be a flight attendant, Jaejoon wanted to be rich, etc. Also, the bully with the tattoo on his neck with the patch over it is the drug dealer

Technically all the episodes are in 1 season but they were split into parts (both parts being 8 episodes) And to clear up some confusion about the bullies (there are 5 in total): Park Yeonjin - the weather forecaster/ the main bully that would be smiling all the time in highschool. She orchastrated most of the bullying and is from a rich family. (Her dream was to become a good wife/mother) Jeon Jaejun - the one who was hitting Myeong-o (tattoo guy). He was the one playing basketball while they were bullying our main girl Dong-eun. He is also from a rich family and was having sex with yeonjin near the beginning of this episode. (His dream was to inherit his family's golf course) Lee Sara - the druggie/artist girl. Back in highschool she was also on drugs (she was sniffing glue etc). She was the girl who was high out of her mind crying "for" Dong-eun when they raided her house calling her "pitiful". She also comes from a rich family. (Her dream was to become a painter) Son Myeong-o - tattoo guy/the errand boy for the group. He was the one who sexually assaulted Dong-eun by kissing her to shut her up when she was in agony when they burned her with the iron. He does NOT come from a rich family which makes him one of the weaker links of the group. (His dream was to become rich) Choi Hyejeong - the gold digger/flight attendant. She was the one who slept with the gym teacher to get the keys to the gym. Her family owns a laundry matt and makes her one of the poor bullies alongside Myeong-o. She is also constantly mistreated (like Myeong-o) because of her status and makes it her mission to sleep to the top. She likes Jaejun but its very one sided. (Her dream was to become a flight attendant) Side note: You guys seemed to mix up Park Yeonjin's husband with Jaejun. Yeonjin's husband was the one reading the Go book in the library where Dong-eun was. The husband does not know about yeonjin's bullying past so he's just a rich guy, hes not involved with any of the bullying. Regardless, im loving the reactions! I'll be here for the ride and maybe some assistance along the way :))

Yes the husband and the man hitting the tattoo guy (the one she was having sex with) are 2 separate people so its 2 male bullies and her husband.

Okay now I’m gonna give a little character breakdown to help you with identifying them: Moon Dong-eun: our main girl and she wants revenge for bullying her Park Yeon-jin: the main girl who bullied Dong-Eun, she is rich Choi Hye-jeong: one of the bullies and she’s also a flight attendant/dry cleaner, she is not rich, she told her boyfriend (he is not a main character in this so you don’t need to know his name) about Yeon-Jin’s “past” Jeon Jae-joon: one of the bullies as well, rich, the guy that was having intercourse with our main bully girl while she was engaged with her now husband, in the flashbacks he was the guy that used to just play basketball in the gym, rich too Lee Sa-ra: one of the bullies as well, rich, druggie, and in this episode Hye-jeong took her dress from the dry cleaners which is where she also works at Son Myeong-o: works for jae-joon as his driver, not rich, basically gets pushed around by Jae-joon, and in the flashbacks he was the guy that was kissing on and basically sexually assaulting Dong-eun (our main girl) Joo Yeo-jeong: this is the intern from the flashback but he is now Doctor in the present. He taught the main girl Dong-eun how to play Go, he was the one on the hospital bed next to Dong-eun Ha Do-yeong: Park Yeon-jin (main bully girl) husband, rich and I don’t know if you paid attention to the TV but Jaepyong construction came up and that’s his company Also, the guy that Dong-eun was eating lunch with was her sunbaenim (senior) from college and in the flashback he was the guy that she walked and smiled to when it looked like she was smiling and walking to the intern Side note: when the camera zooms into something that’s the thing you have to pay the most attention to because it may refer to something in the flashbacks which helps things make sense and you get that realization like “ahhhh I get it now” But yeah that’s basically it for now, you’ll learn more about these characters as you go. I only based these descriptions based on what we’ve watched so far so it’s brief.

We met her mom in the first episode and well she’s basically crazy, only cares about money and essentially abandoned her/doesn’t give a shit. - Doctor guy: Yeo-jung (you’ll figure him out eventually lol) - Girl from the place Dong-eun was working: I forgot her name but she’s basically just a new friend she made when she started working there who’s helping her out a bit now. - the maid: new character, you’ll understand her story in the next few episodes. So there’s 5 bully’s total: - Weather girl: main bully/bitch. Name: Yeon-jin (married to a rich guy, he’s just her husband tho he doesn’t know anything about the bullying etc.) - Rich/mafia looking guy: bully/the guy Yeon-jin was f-in in the beginning (imma leave y’all to discover more on that relationship as the show goes on lmao). He’s the one that owns Siesta (the store we keep seeing). Name: Jae-jun - Tattoo guy: bully/Jae-jun’s bitch and he’s also a drug dealer. Also the guy in the first episode that kissed Dong-eun in the school gym after they burnt her with the iron. Name: Myeong-o - Girl with the weird stare: bully/drug addict pretty much. Daughter of the pastor you saw in episode one. Name: Sara - Flight attendant: bully by association. She’s at the bottom of the food chain when it comes to the bullies, like Sara said in this episode if it wasn’t Dong-eun it would have been her. Long story short she likes Jae-jun and is basically a gold digger in general.

Since this show is about the revenge process, these episodes are to give background information about how things came to be and you have to try to keep up with the going back and forth because it happens a lot in this show and we’ll at least for me it doesn’t get confusing if you know people’s names and faces. That’s like the one thing about kdramas… if you can’t keep up with the characters name’s and faces you’ll be confused like half of the time and you won’t know what’s going on. Also note pay attention to people’s facial expression, actions, and the conversations that’s going because there are a lot of intricacies here and there. I know you guys just started this but I know you’ll get it soon.
