News: November 2023

I've decided to make this month's update the last content update for GnB for a while. I'll continue updating every image and animation for all hairs for the following months. When all of those are done, I'll fully release GnB as v1.0. The previously planned v1.1 will not be happening immediately after v1.0. I'm considering expanding the previously planned story line for v1.1 into an entirely new game. Either way, there will be more.

GnB has been in development for nearly 2 years now. Part of which was during a rough period of my life. In fact, I started GnB mainly as filler until I could return to SC. It ended up becoming far more than that. I also don't like leaving things incomplete. I wanted GnB to be at least somewhat decent despite its rocky start.

As for the content in this release, it's not a ton. The Cyberspace quest line will be wrapped up in an open ended way so that I can return to that story later. You'll also get that final outfit. Finally! Plenty of images will be updated for all of the hairs. The number will depend entirely on how many are able to render. Fun fact, I've already prepared every single still image in the game with every hair option. All that's left are the pseudo-animations and the full animations. Plus rendering it all, of course.

If you're confused about the Cyberspace quest line, that's probably because it is intended to be somewhat hidden. Since I expect to be asked several times, I'll just give you this here and now. Skip the rest of this paragraph if you don't want spoilers. Okay, so.. Start out by using the Explore command from the map and talking to the female android NPC who mentions Cyberspace if you're far enough along the main quest line. That will unlock new options at different locations around the city to talk to others about Cyberspace. After talking to all 6, go to the subway station. Finally, put on the new outfit and visit the Alley. Some of this can even be done in the current version if you want to get a head start.

What's the plan beyond this update then? Since I'm going to just let the renders run for as many hours as possible every day, I won't be able to do anything else in Daz. You may already be aware, but I plan on returning to SC once GnB is complete. While waiting on the renders, I plan on reacclimating myself with SC. It has been 2 years after all. There's quite a bit that needs to be done before jumping back into SC, so I'll be using my time wisely. I'll make another post later with my full plans for SC.
