What's up?

Sorry for my long absence, this month started off a little weird for me.
As probably all of you know, we had a terrorist shooter active in the city two weeks ago and while I was in no personal danger (shooting happened downtown, we're inner districts), the event still shook me a lot more than I was willing to admit for the longest time, even to myself. I was badly preoccupied with the political implications of that event and the goings on that resulted from it, at least a lot more than I would usually be, and the fall out from it is still raining down around us in a sense.
Far from that being the only thing going on though, I finally got to see a cardiologist and he sent me to several tests which we'll discuss in detail this coming week. There were some organisational screw-ups, which dragged the whole situation out over a period of two and a half weeks and I finally got to have my last test done yesterday. As much as these health issues have been with me for a while, having to head from lab to lab in the current environment is putting a lot of mental pressure on me.
Second wave lockdown finally happened on saturday (much too late, if you ask me) and as such being outside for any reason is a chore in a lot of ways. I realise I have to go outside for some fresh air and sunshine (and I don't mean that figuratively), but given my ongoing problems, I'm super paranoid about getting infected, especially because there's still so many people who think of the pandemic as nothing more than influenza+ .

Anyway, /rant.
I'm hoping to get back into regular production soon, however I am taking on a little bit extra to perhaps get to take December off. We'll see whether that works out as planned.
