A Different Sort of Break
Added 2017-05-19 20:59:58 +0000 UTCIt's not really been a secret that YouTube has burnt me out these last few months. Blindly trying to fight huge daily changes to your income source will do that to you.
Anyway, we've had some discussion over here at the Top Secret Nerd³ HQ (just off junction 15 of the M4, Swindon.) and hatched a plan. I'm going to stop editing the Plays videos for a while. Matt is going to do it. This will give me a few extra days a week to spread things out and hopefully you won't even notice the difference.
Now, this only applies to the standard sort of Plays videos. Any one that needs more than just 'mushing the best bits together' will still be done by me. Matt's had some practice with the online stuff and I'm happy how they're turning out so I decided now's the time to do this.
Saturday's video is a great ending point for me. It's a really nice edit with some fancy bits here and there and it comes together very nicely. People who watched the Fallout 4 series are in for a treat as it picks up where the last episode left off. People who didn't watch that OR Doctor Who are in for a confusing one!
Speaking of Doctor Who, I've recorded a special Patreon exclusive Podcast on Doctor Who that'll be going up later today. It's a 90 min full on nerd-out. Hope you dig it.
Today was my first day of not editing a plays video. I had a 5 hour nap and got Rebecca to cut all my hair off. It was a nice day.
