2020-06-18 05:16:51 +0000 UTCDan if you haven't considered it yet. Check out the book for the Martian, it has more detail, jokes and other trouble that got cut from the film which is still a reasonably faithful adaption

2020-05-08 00:37:53 +0000 UTCan electric duster has saved me so much money dusting the 3 PCs in my house and lots of LEGO. Mine cost Β£50 but is very powerful. I have to hold the fans so they don't induce a current and minfigs can sometime disconnect and fly across the room.

2020-05-07 19:42:44 +0000 UTCYou should include a list of the rules of time travel at the end of the book

2020-05-05 15:11:34 +0000 UTCI feel like every liberal on the internet goes through an 'Angry Atheist' phase, where we take the hard-line fundamentalist religious beliefs and try to apply them to all religious people as an excuse to criticise all religions

2020-05-05 10:30:39 +0000 UTCI made a note to comment very early on in this podcast when you spoke about the length of your chapter and said a number that was intended to convey a great size. I then looked down at my word count per chapter of my book and the smallest is about 50% larger than that number, the highest being about 3 times it... ummm... yeaaaaah

2020-05-04 20:52:55 +0000 UTCSo I really want to ask this from a creative perspective but have u put in a prologue to sort of explain what happens in those 600 years or let it sort of unfold naturally over the course of the book? Legitimately just curious

2020-05-04 13:09:54 +0000 UTCHey Dan, no idea if you've already watched this but based on your talk about being about to watch stuff with little bits of horror in I really, really do recommend What We Do In The Shadows. It's a low budget comedy by the bloke who has since gone on to direct Thor Ragnarok, and it is absolutely one of the funniest films I've ever watched. Yes it has vampires in it, but it's not horror; in fact, I'd say it's distinctly less horror than Shawn of the Dead is.

2020-05-04 12:03:54 +0000 UTCmaybe divide the podcast into sections, one with book spoilers one without. I listen to the podcast religiously, but I really want to go into the book with as little information as possible.
