Dan, you've lost the thread. When did your personal goal become being impressive and memorable? I'm a retired commercial game dev and, honestly, no one's going to remember my name in 20 years. Hell, hardly anyone knows it now. With your policy, that would depress me to no end, but these days I find someone playing a game I worked on 20 years ago and it's making them happy. Nothing, fucking nothing, feels better as you're wandering into your later years. I don't care if no one will remember me. I care that I helped make some people happy. I'm only about 30 minutes in, but had to stop and say that after also listening to Tom's 2 a.m. "What is my life? What is my professional life after Youtube?" spill in the latest Last Week...while you were there, did you speak to him at all about trying something different together? You writing something that he and his team produces and films? That would go up on a new channel, so it's not tied down to expectations for either "brand"? It just sounds like you really want to try this path, and also like Tom really wants to try a new direction on his path, and like you would more likely get there if you tried it together.

Hey Dan, the more I hear about your personal life, the more I realise exactly how much we have in common. You have pain that is triggered by stress, I had a similar condition for four years that severely impacted my life. You're good at inprov comedy, that's the only way I can have a conversation where people listen to me. I think the only differences really is that I'm half a decade younger, so by the time I had the capability to start YouTube, it was too late. That, and I'm not that big a fan of food. I might be the Australian version of you :P

A thing that makes my blood boil: People using power that they have been entrusted with and abuse it for their own means/ pleasure. I had a teacher who was a female Snape in that she would target junior students (11 yr olds to 12 yr olds) and intimidate them and verbally abuse them. She even admitted to my senior class that she found it fun and enjoyed doing that. The staff and teachers were all aware of how she behaved yet it was accepted because "Thats just who she is". Shes still teaching because she was actually a decent teacher and she gets results from her students, but she is just an awful person.

Yo Dan, You mentioned in the podcast that Rebecca thinks you have some form of Autism. As someone with mild autism, I kind of have to agree with her. You do seem to have a lot of traits, the ones you kinda highlighted and also others. I imagine you are the type of person to get fixated on a project and forget to eat or sleep, for example but i could be wrong. The superhero coat and being too distracted to learn how to drive are also possible traits. You also have a high intellect which is a common trait in high functioning autism. Is possibly getting a diagnoses something you would consider? Even though Autistic adults gain very little from getting diagnosed, it could be an viable option if the disorder is negatively effecting your life. It's all about weighting up the pros and cons of Autism's impact on you.

I'm not sure if it was intentional, but; I noticed the small Minchin reference. 'Sometimes I get a little bit angry.'

Would it work to record a podcast on a Patreon only livestream? Like have Rebecca reading chat stuff while you talk about whatever you want and then you can kinda get instant feedback on stuff and respond to questions. I dunno, maybe that’d be too complicated

Check out Subnautica's wikis if you aren't planning to play it, because there is alien ruins, artefacts, other submarine bases, time capsules left by the players and other pretty cool stuff to discover if you dig a little bit deeper than the first 100 meters of the game. If you turn off the whole water/food part and play with the gathering of ressources to build base extensiosn that allow you to dive deeper, it's actually a very cool game about slowly getting to the bottom of the deepest parts of the ocean (there's even a cool island somewhere outside of the water.)

Each series is self-contained and controlled by the writers not the publishers, instead of being like the Marvel Cinematic Universe it's more just TV shows on the same network. About the things that make our blood boil, I get very frustrated and upset when people dismiss the problems of other people, especially about people and children that are in a bad situation. It makes me a weird mix of disappointed, stressed, and agitated. Unlucky about the Matt, Dan. My cable management has been messy, but manageable. I can replace any cable, and nothing is restricted, but it doesn't look nice. I don't like Macs. Good on you for tearing down and building up your computer. Flickering issues could be related to a lack of power, maybe it's time to change your power extension. A basic Uninterruptible Power Supply might also help. As for the premier pro, if you could download something like CPUID and post screenshots of all of the tabs, we might be able to help determine what the issue could be. I feel like premier pro could be having issues with your memory, but I can't say for sure without knowing what the rest of the muffins are like. Have you spoken to Chillblast about your computer woes? I enjoy the podcasts, they're good and I think you're a pretty good guy. I mean, you changed my mind on the benefits of Nuclear Power, so that's something. Also, do you watch Jon MATN's videos? If so, what stuff of his do you like most?

Hey you mentioned things that makes your blood boil! (Did I do that right?) There are two things that really pisses me off. The first one is people who just refuse to take responsibility for anything. For example I have a friend who recently got fired from her job because they kept changing her schedule without telling her, so she often ended up not showing up at the new times. They fired her and put the blame on her even though they are responsible, and that really fucks me off. The second thing is inconsistency. I hate people who say "I am against this thing" and then proceed to do said thing. Or just moderators in chatgroups like discord servers who selectively enforce the rules on people depending on how much they like it. To me consistency is the quickest way to truth and it pisses me off when people are just being inconsistent without either noticing or caring.

He is notoriously bad at games, but what angers me the most is the way he treats his fanbase. Multiple times he has asked for money on Patreon to complete various games, but he has ragequit at the very end of some of them, and even canceled the game after his fans reached the money goal. He wiill also try out a game, and if he's bad at the game in any way, he will blame the game, developers, his controller, anything but himself. I vote that you start a movement to use twitch's pre-recorded videos and leave youtube in the dust. You can't lose much more money from videos, and I kind of want a bigger creator to make the move and start to have some competition for youtube. Also you would be able to see live reactions in twitch chat with their premire thing or whatever and you could do it more like a tv show where loads of people watch it at the same time.
