The amount of times I shouted “DANIEL” throughout this

I really enjoyed I read the reviews of idiots. Can we hear a sample of the reviews of FTL?

Patrick Jackson

Just found out that Dwarf Fortress is getting graphics and a steam release. I for one am excited to become frustrated and confused on a whole new level

Tom Chaney

Dan, have you seen the trailer for the official Dr Who VR game titled "The Edge of Time" and are you planning to do a video/live stream on it?

Ashvin Scott

Have you listened to his Dr Who podcast? It's really good and I recommend it to anyone who likes the show or is interested in Dan's stuff.

Ashvin Scott

What are your honest thoughts on the new doctor who. Not Jodie, but the episodes. Personally I find them a little on the nose. Like they will cut back to Ryan and Yasmin where they can force feed us the message of the episode. The episodes are quite entertaining though.

Scott

That has got to be the strangest opinion of endgame I've ever heard. where are your emotions? Oh, nevermind now I hear where your emotions were thinking about the a******* next to you. I agree and very understandable. I do hope you re-watch the film someday then without the s*** head next to you. It is most enjoyable. Even the first Act.

YodatheHobbit

Did you watch the God of War documentary, Raising Kratos? What are your thoughts?

Alan Morrison

As a uni student the best screen I have at home is my laptop so I like to go to the cinema if it's a notable movie. But I always go a week or so later during off peak hours for 2 reasons. Cheap as fuck cos you can combo off peak price and student discount for a £5 ticket, yes please. Half the time it's fucking empty and if there is anyone they're all the way across the room and silent, also never any kids. I got up early on my bday (on a Monday) just to watch endgame in peace, was bliss

William Newing

Dan remember the metacritic reviews for next time

Reese McKay

Endgame had its issues but in my opinion, structure wasn't one of them... nor was the pacing. For me its the T*** Tr**el. Its always a really cheap storytelling tactic and really confusing, for the most part, its explained quite well. And the majority after the first act... (from the time jump after... that thing happens) to the start of the second act when they go and do their plan. It was just meh. The second act was good. And the third was absolutely excellent. I'm hoping that if people read this that haven't seen it yet, I haven't spoiled it.

love it i just listened to this before seeing avengers i made sure not to get popcorn

Do you watch Line of Duty? Watched the first half of s1 a while ago, and wasn't super into it, then tried it again. That was 5 days ago. I'm now in series 4.

Stan Gaskell

Read Reviews of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Dylan Tavares

Endgame was really damn structurally sound wasn't it? There's a real defined 3 acts. It's a bit odd that it's so obvious 3 acts that may be an issue

Mark Fletch

Sounds like you need to make a home cinema, Dan, like this: https://www.avsforum.com/ht-of-the-month-the-hahn-theater/

I hope you have a good holiday!

Dan you asked to give suggestions for things to do on the podcast, I already asked about it on twitch but I'm here to remind you. BOOK REVIEWS thx ❤️

Mathieu Marlaire

Regarding other people and popcorn: I had something similar, but ultimately more infuriating. I went to the midnight showing of the film. NEVER AGAIN. Fucking nerds would have ruined it if I had let it get to me. Every time something happened: "Oh My God!" (Yes, you could HEAR the capitals...) "Whoah!?" Infuriating! But it gets worse. To my right were a bunch of mouth-breathing, card-carrying MRAs, I'm sure of it. Every time Brie Larson showed her face on the screen... they couldn't resist making a comment. Fucking assholes.

Bjorn van Rijszen

This was a long one, thank you dan! Glad to hear you're doing things.

Collin Regalia

Humble are doing a book deal about writing books (Just a bit meta) if you are intrested. I wont post a link because that proberbly will get this comment rejected.

Gentle Grudge

Boy I really dislike people eating noisily, there's this guy at my work who I have to sit as far away from as possible because when he eats it sounds like he's constantly smacking his lips. Also don't worry Dan the pop vinyls have already spoiled that Thor thing :P

Narmatonia

I'd absolutely love 'laughing at stupid reviews' to become a regular thing

Alex Garton-Hill

I've been to a few events there and it was fun but the seats are not comfy.

Kim Clarke

My favorite cinema experience was watching the Last Jedi on opening day. Everyone was dead silent during the hyperdrive ramming scene, it was incredible. Unlike the second time I saw it in the cinema a few weeks later when the guy in the row in front of me said “wow!” and some kids were being noisy elsewhere. I agree that you can only see a movie in a theater on opening day or thirty years later.

Arcade Cat

You've gone and gotten me all excited for hopefully shooting some of my short scripts over the next year or so

Tom Chaney

I'm reminded of my favourite ever Come Dine With Me score, 'main was great, starter was great, dessert was great, activities/entertainment were just OK. 3/10.' They were only allocating one point per item, I wish I could ask what they would have used the other six numbers for.

Tom Chaney

Marvel didn't want to release Spider-Man till next year but Sony Pictures insisted it come out this year, and Sony Pictures are in charge of Marketing

Shawn Lindsay

Previously hearing Dan's complaints I've always been charitable and assumed that cinemas are just worse in England, but I saw Endgame in Carlisle and it was fine. There was one person sitting near me who occasionally had a verbal reaction, but quietly and only at the most key moments, which really improved the experience. Also, not to boast, but I had a Tango iceblast in there and I had plenty of time to walk down the street for a public loo before I needed to pee.

Tom Chaney

If you hate cinemas you should check out Prince Charles Cinema next time you're in London - https://princecharlescinema.com

Tim Thompson

Worst people in the cinema are those who pay £12 for a ticket and talk through the whole thing

Kim Clarke

So I unplugged my headphones for this podcast so I could lean back and play my guitar while I listened, and now my neighbors must be wondering who the maniac next door screaming "THAT'S WHAT YOU GET BITCH" is.

Well Read Nomad

Yeah so ehhh my rss for the podcast isn't working for some reason...

I'd love to hear a 1 hour review of endgame. 😜
