Hello!
Ah, Ghost of Tsushima, a game I wasn't expecting much from at all. Given it's trailers, lack of gameplay footage and the fact that Sekiro exists, my hype level was on the floor for this one. Three weeks ago Sony gave me a code for it and I'm here to report that it just about met my low expectations.
It feels like a late PS3 era game to be honest, with not a single new idea it can bring to the table. It just feels like that open world game you've played a million times over. Gather resources, level up, get new techniques, find endless collectables, fight endless enemies Arkham style on a map that's pretty, but dull. Not my cup of tea, and doesn't come close to Sekiro's throne.
The only people I'd recommend it to are folks who want a very long, very grounded samurai game. Other than that, you should probably skip it.
