I just wanted to put a little post out explaining where everything's at, as I appreciate it's been kind of radio silence for a couple of months!

General
As a general note that sort of applies to everything: Daniel and Rebecca have mentioned it a few times, but the noise from building work near where they live has been incredibly disruptive to their lives; which is then compounded by issues related to everyone's good friend neurodivergency. As a result they're getting very little sleep, and very little time to focus on doing the vast majority of things. This is ongoing and applying consistent and inescapable pressure, which is one of the main reasons stuff has been so quiet for the last couple of months.
Daniel also spent the last couple of months hyperfocusing on getting the Paradox Paradox finished (Which he did finish, the other day), so now we're past that we're hoping to start getting back on top of stuff like videos and the PodCats soon-ish.
Art Prints
The delayed July and August prints are getting along. We got the July prints delivered yesterday (They got further delayed by a printing issue), and we're hoping we can get them signed and shipped within the next couple of weeks. We're working on getting on top of the August prints too, and subsequently the September prints. There's definitely going to be a delay to print shipping for the next few months as we try and catch up (as well as dealing with the consistent building work). But they will ALL BE SHIPPED. (Sidenote: If you address has changed since July please send us a message and let me know so I can update the address spreadsheets from July/Aug)
Videos
Daniel had mentioned there were some unedited plays videos knocking about, and he was only really half right - there are two videos recorded ages ago which I never got around to finishing the edits on as I didn't think they worked too well, and I was planning to get them up during this drought to at least give you lovely people something, but sadly I have been incredibly busy with behind the scenes admin and accounting tasks which have taken up almost all my work time. I'm getting back to editing over the next week or two and should hopefully have a plays for you all (and all the late Dad³ vlogs, for those that watch that).
PodCats
A lot of people have been very justifiably asking where the next episode of the PodCats is! The combination of Daniel's book (and the building work), my increased admin workload, and Jon being super busy with big new releases (namely Starfield) we've not been able to nail down a recording time for a good while, but much like everything else we're aiming to get stuff sorted over the next few weeks!

As an added note, I really want to say how much I appreciate everyone being so patient and supportive. I totally see how bad the optics is of the almost radio silence for a couple of months is, and we're really really sorry. It's quite hard to share a lot of details without doxxing ourselves or exposing overly personal information, but it's been a very tough few months and we're still not quite out of it yet. There are absolutely no hard feelings if you don't want to support anymore, or don't feel like you're getting enough out of your patronage - I totally get it. But I also want to reassure everyone that stuff is coming, and all the art prints are coming, and stuff will be improving!
If anyone has any questions, fling them below and I'll do my best to answer them!

I hope the building work finishes soon and things get better. Please don't worry for the delay in things, we appreciate everything that you all do! You have been there for nearly 10 years for me when I have felt down and you make me laugh and I get excited for NerdCubed things including the prints! Personally I am going through old podcasts and videos. The old patreon podcasts are quite amusing as Dan talks about things yet to happen and you can see the build up to 'Fuck Yeah videogames'. I just hope that everyone at NerdCubed is taking care of themselves. I know my measly $1/month doesn’t count for much, but I am happy to give the little I can. I’m so excited for the book and I can’t wait to finally read it! I hope Dan enjoyed writing it, and I can’t wait for his audiobook version (as long as he records it again). I’m sorry to hear you all have been dealing with extra stress, please take care of yourselves. I’d rather wait for a month or two for content, and keep receiving content in the future than for you folks to work yourself to death and the content stops permanently. Sending love from Canada 💜💜
