A couple of my colleagues and I did our own nerdcubed/ashens style advent last year and to be honet the best I came up with was thinking of a rogue theme for an advent calendar and then seeing if it existed. I ended up with the 24 days of fishmas which came with 24 fishing lures. Bought it on Amazon in the end

I know that obviously a big part of the series is that Dan & Ashens get crap calendars, but they've definitely had some interesting ones too. Plus of course Dan and Rebecca have opened nice ones themselves privately, LEGO ones, nice art supply ones, but since Dan deleted all his old tweets, those videos are no longer watchable :(. I've searched around on Amazon etc but no luck so far, mostly generic candles, tea, facewash etc... Anyone got any hot tips on where to find non-generic advent calendar's? Or how Dan might've found the weird/interesting ones used in the series? I mean, come on, where was he looking to find a BBQ SPICES December calendar and how do I get there?
