Added 2023-12-20 04:22:10 +0000 UTCHey everyone we're here with the first ever Media Club Plus bonus episode-- a two parter where we watch 10 episodes of Dragon Ball and talk about it. In this episode we discuss 5 episodes: the first 3 episodes of the Tien Shinhan arc, as well episodes 11 and 12 of that arc. Some lists will call these episodes 83-85, 93, 94. I'm sorry that it's slightly confusing. These episodes are sometimes called season 4 and sometimes called season 7. I believe season 7 is more "official". To help, the episode titles are "Which Way to Papaya Island?" , "Rivals and Arrivals", "Preliminary Peril", "Tien Shinhan vs. Jackie Chun" and "Stepping Down"

2023-12-26 14:00:05 +0000 UTCyeah plex is particularly weird about old anime because TVDB sorts seasons in a way no one else does for those older shows. not really sure what the deal is there sorry for the confusion. this is why at some point i give the raw episode number but i cant remember where i actually did that. maybe its at the end of this episode for the next episode

S04E16: "Rivals and Arrivals" S04E17: "Preliminary Peril" S04E25: "Tien Shinhan vs. Jackie Chun" S04E26: "Stepping Down" S04E15 is episode #83 if you have something showing absolute numbers, and the first web results for the Tian Shinhan arc list it as starting on #84.

2023-12-23 14:33:15 +0000 UTCI was a bit confused trying to find the episodes to watch for this. Unless someone more correct than me has commented below this, I believe episodes 1, 2, 3, 11, and 12 of the Tien Shinhan arc map to S04E16, E17, E18, E26, and E27 on TVDB (i.e., Plex).

2023-12-21 03:40:14 +0000 UTCEvery anime in the last 30 years references Dragonball and DBZ so heavily. Foundational, fun stuff. My vote for next bonus episode is 45 episodes of the Dark Tournament in Yu Yu Hakusho. Another personal favorite: Mobile Fighter G Gundam is a series-long tournament arc between countries.
