Magna-Cut could, theoretically, make a good sword steel. Even at its peak hardness, it's noticeably tougher than 1095. The big problem you'll run into is cost. That's not even taking i to account that Magna-Cut's manufacturer, Crucible, has announced bankruptcy and will likely end up in the hands of Erasteel.

2025-03-09 14:50:15 +0000 UTCI would love from S5 to a even better material to be developed... if we still would fight with swords, there might be a reason for it so it really will take someone capable of it being passionate about it... possible to get links for the S5 forges you know of?
