Base Color WIP for "Commission: GrumpyVentrexian (Cold Lager Hot Day)"
Added 2019-05-01 23:00:00 +0000 UTCWhen I start paintings, I generally do a base layer like this where I have all the colors in place, and hints of shadow. This helps me assess more easily where colors need to be, and gives me a nice color palette to sample from like a real painter. Usually I got darker with the shadows than I did here, but I was in a rush and forgot to do another pass for the darker areas. It worked out, though!
