Added 2019-06-19 23:00:02 +0000 UTCAs it turns out, choosing a dusk lighting scheme for this image worked out to my benefit! Having it take place at this time of day eliminated the need for hard shadows, so the flat colors without shading actually turned out pretty natural looking! Had I chosen a midday look, I'm not sure if it would have looked as appealing due to the lack of hard shadows to show the strength of the sunlight. Consider this a tip for your own artwork. :3
