Health Update
Added 2020-08-22 07:36:36 +0000 UTCSo, last night was not a lot of fun. I wasn't feeling great so I took a midday nap only to wake up to severe abdominal pain and nausea. I thought it might be due to a bursting appendix so I got a ride to the ER. After an ultrasound and a CT scan, they determined that it was actually a case of kidney hydronephrosis. A kidney stone was obstructing my kidneys from draining properly and so they were filling with urine and the pain had been coming from the swelling. The doctor talked with me about possible causes for the stone and determined that the likely culprit was the calcium supplements I had been taking to fill a gap in my diet. So much for trying to be healthy!
Today has been much better. I spent most of it asleep, to be honest, and while the stone has yet to pass, I was prescribed some tamsulosin to help it pass easier and diclofenac for the pain. I also have some ondanestron for the nausea but I haven't needed it yet, thankfully. I'm taking things easy for now, so I'm not sure when I'll be able to finish this build, but I'm going to try to take care of myself first and then try to wrap it up when my body's all settled.

I'm so, so sorry, Kho... I hope the stone passes quickly and with minimal pain. I admire your strength for fighting through this nightmare of a month.. Praying that things get better for you soon
