Sneak peek - A guest character?
Added 2024-06-06 00:34:29 +0000 UTCv0.04.1 is going to be a smaller update. The initial plan was to release the second part of the beach update, but I'm postponing that. Why? Because there was a change of plans! Like I mentioned before, another artist I'm quite the fan of somehow approached me and suggested a collab, and I just couldn't say no.
So I'd like to announce that the next update is gonna feature the icemega's character Earlette!
Do you know her?
Well, the update is gonna have a short quest in which she and May join up to search for a legendary gaming console... Of course, running into questionable people along the way ;)
The plan is to have it released by the end of the month. I've been pretty busy with irl stuff, but the update itself is pretty small, so things should go smoothly. I hope to see you there!
Here's what's expected to be in v0.04.1:
- Added icemega's collab character Earlette and a short quest for her into the game (accessible from the city park)
- The arcade in the city is now accessible (though you won't be able to play any games yet)
- Fixed the bug in which May's Diary didn't properly keep track of the Gropers' questline progress
- Increased the number of save slots from 20 to 100 (99 + autosave)
- May can no longer drink orange juice if she isn't in her default outfit
- Several minor fixes and changes

But if people like her and her creator wants it I'm fine with a follow-up sometime in the future xD This update won't have Abby making an appearence tho. But she will show up again soon ;)

2024-06-07 01:18:25 +0000 UTCYeah that sounds fun! Tho it doesn't quite fit the gameplay loop. I could add it later on as an extra of sorts. Maybe after a character's questline is finished you can do repeatable content on demand with them, like hanging out in different places.
