Progress Update + Future Plans

Sorry for the lack of updates. Been playing plenty of games lately, much like Earlette in the picture.

Yes, you heard me right! This is a public post, so in case you haven't heard, the next update is going to be a small collab with icemega, a 3D artist I quite respect, featuring their character Earlette! She and May will go on a small quest in search of a certain legendary gaming console.

The update (v0.04.1) is planned to come out on next week's saturday, so Jun 29, tho it may vary depending on whether her creator wants anything changed (or how many hours I sink into Shadow of the Erdtree cough cough).

But what about the usual roadmap? Next is going to be a new questline with a "job" you can get on the beach. The structure is probably gonna be similar to the restaurant, but with a very different storyline. Still not sure if I'm gonna call it v0.04.2 since it's an expansion of the beach, or v0.05.0 since it's a new questline that takes place mostly indoors. Which do you think would be the least confusing?

Anyway, I hope you have fun! The collab update will be out early here first for supporters, as always, and then become public one week later. I hope you enjoy what's to come ;)

Patch notes below:

v0.04.1 (29 Jun 2024)

- Added icemega's character Earlette and a short collab quest with her into the game (accessible from the city park)

- The arcade in the city is now accessible (though you won't be able to play any games yet)

- Fixed the bug in which May's Diary didn't properly keep track of the Gropers' questline progress

- Increased the number of save slots from 20 to 100 (99 + autosave)

- Added a "text speed" option to the menu

- May will now no longer be lv 1 after becoming a "Curious Girl"

- May can no longer drink orange juice if she isn't in her default outfit

- Several minor fixes and changes
