End of May 2022 Update!

Howdy everyone! Welcome to an update blog post thing.

Here is what June looks like so far!

June is Pride Month so all of our straight lewd game vids have been moved down to July! I recorded new vids for June, all of them being gay, all about dudes. 

Stuff in green is edited and ready. Yellow means recorded just not edited. 

But progress is being made! Friday is still the day for edited non-lewd videos and Monday is still our day for Lewds. We have a special bonus video at the end of June where we get 2 lewds in a week. (Honestly, the games were very short, so I don't mind).

Depending on where we are in July, we might get two lewds a week but for this month this is what we got since it's pride and I don't want no straight stuff being uploaded.

That being said, I have a lot more videos coming out! So...

Streaming

I have been streaming! Maybe you have noticed, maybe not, either way, it's been happening! My best day is Friday morning, usual 9 AM PST I get started and go until about 1PM. I also have Tuesday set aside for potential streaming, but that is my recording day. I don't like to get too far ahead with recordings though, so if that happens and I feel up to it I will stream.

Now the streams are being broken up into videos that go on the channel. I've been playing a ton of Evil Dead which I turn each match into a video. There is a stream rhythm I want to nail down to maximize on games played and videos produced.

Start with Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, then play 1 to 3 games on Itch.io that are new/popular, then play Evil Dead, then finish with Genshin Impact. 

This hasn't gone super according to plan, but I am finding my flow. But why do this? Why play a ton of different games in a stream?

I am trying to get a video out every day, but I don't want to do my usual in-depth editing for each one. Stream videos are my answer. I get constant content, varied content, all the time. And these videos can sometimes be up to an hour long. That is a LOT of watch time and potential monetization.

Also, I want to play all these games :D Seeing as I don't really game in my free time. 

Balance

The last thing I want to discuss is balance and trying to find it. I love JP and honestly, it hitting 1k subs again and getting monetized in no time has been really wonderful. I felt really depressed and defeated since July of 2021 am now finally feel that fire to do this shit again. 

That being said, I have other commitments. The first one is my retail job. I'm a manager at a grocery store. Shit is stupid and grueling and soul crushing. But I need to pay the rent and bills and medical shit. I actually have been dealing with an ingrown toenail for most of the pandemic. I haven't dealt with it due to money and also dropping money on fixing my teeth (look at my front teeth in my early vids compared to my newest shit and you'll see). So yeah, retail sucks and it takes up at LEAST 40 hours of my week.

Then there is my writing. If you don't know I released a book this month called I Am The Mausoleum and in August I will be releasing another book called The Redwater Legend which I started working on in 2015. Not to mention that I am actually working on some secret writing projects that I may reveal one year. 

Needless to say, that I spend my weeks bouncing between retail, editing, writing, recording, writing, and also maybe music soon for one of these secret projects. Let's just say that since I've been playing and covering video games, people who make games want me to have some... involvement.

But yes, life is chaotic. Also, I'm engaged so at SOME point I'm getting married.
