Rehearsal in Texas Tonight & Batman V Superman

I'm in Texas and tonight was the first rehearsal with the lovely Marshall Symphony of the Saint-Saëns Cello Concerto, which we're performing this Sunday, February 7) at 3PM. Tomorrow morning (Saturday February 6 ) is the dress rehearsal, and I'm also doing a free clinic/masterclass on campus at the East Texas Baptist University at 2PM in the Redwine Building. Tickets for the concert on Sunday are $25 General Admission, $5 for Students, and Free for Children under 12.

On another note, Batman V Superman- Dawn of Justice comes out March 25 and I'm really excited to be featured on Electric Cello throughout the score. March 18 will be the release date of the soundtrack, which was a collaborative effort by film composers Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL (aka Tom Holkenborg). Available digitally, on CD, 2-disc deluxe CD, and on Limited Edition 3-disc deluxe vinyl. The album is available for preorder now. The 2-CD deluxe package, the digital deluxe version, and the 3-disc deluxe vinyl set feature over 90 minutes of music, five bonus tracks, and exclusive fold-out poster and liner notes from the composers. Additionally, the vinyl set features etched vinyl art and an album download card.

I'm also touring with Hans in his first Arena tour, "Hans Zimmer Live" through Europe from April-June, and I'll be playing Electric Cello for those concerts as well.
