A random thank you and a question
Added 2023-05-05 17:56:45 +0000 UTCHi! Just wanted to let you know that I'm very thankful to you in continuing to support me, despite me not rolling out anything new in quite a while. It still takes effort to maintain what is already there, so I really appreciate it!
We wanted to make an API for HSR (a way to access data in Star Rail, like we provide for Genshin) so others could use it and make bots/cards/calculators/etc, but I am not entirely sure I'll be able to make and maintain a second Enka, but for HSR. I wanted to delegate this to the community.
However, what do you think? Should I make an HSR website, or should I focus on continuing on improving and adding new stuff to Enka?
Granted, I still didn't even play the game due to not having enough time (heck, I didn't even play Genshin in the last few months), so it'll take me a bit.
If I decide not to make an HSR site, you'll probably still have (haphazard) cards from various sources; however, I really liked that the design I carefully thought out for Enka stuck with most of the card formats people integrated into bots and stuff, keeping things readable across different implementations of the Enka API.
If I do, it'll delay the API release a little. Also, suggest a good name for the site.

2023-05-08 14:35:10 +0000 UTCall the tools powered by enka are my most used and favourite from all the genshin tools out there! you guys did such a fantastic job and i’m proud to be a supporter. as for HSR, i think something related to the first planet we visit (Jarilo-VI) would be really cool, especially the huge city most of that planet’s story takes part in called Belobog. the city is comprised of an “overworld” and an underworld (could be an idea for dark/light themes like enka). i’m not too sure about what to name it but anything related to planetary travel, the Express or Paths could be good. thanks again for all your hard work!!

The appearance and UI of ENKA is really fantastic, easy to read, and easy to use so I'm quite fond of your work in specific. That being said, I know it's a lot to undertake so I wouldn't mind the wait, as well as subscribing to a higher tier in order to make it a little more worth your while. As for a name, you could try something with the mascot/conductor of the Express, Pompom? It's short and sweet and matches the syllable length of Enka, but it might be a little too vague 😅

2023-05-05 19:04:08 +0000 UTCI don't mind an HSR site, there are just a couple of things I'd like put on Enka first / simultaneously if possible (build rename, photo saving, character rearrange are my last really wants!) HSR would be lucky to have you though!

2023-05-05 19:02:14 +0000 UTCThe original plan for Enka was to find something starting with D[.....] Network, so it could shorten to DN for the ultimate joke, but Genshin surprisingly fell flat in terms of having notable words starting with D. Maybe this time?

I was trying to think of something that mirrored the aesthetic a bit but we arent very far into the story yet to get anything like how enkanomiya was for genshin. The only one that's similar so far is the underworld and the similarities there are weak at best. As for honkai lore though...gimme a bit and I'll get back to you. I've been diving a bit more into the honkai lore recently after being out of the loop for a few years so I'm sure I'll find something usable

2023-05-05 18:07:17 +0000 UTCI'll hold off on responding to the poll for a bit since I really dont know what answer to give just yet, but on the topic of a name I think a play off of a geothe grand hotel would be neat. I'm also not very imaginative so that probably doesn't help either
