The confrontation lasted only a second, as no matter how strong the sword, what was in front of it was a weapon of the highest caliber, a symbol of destruction personified.

Then, a crack appeared in the white and blue sword.

And Excalibur Galatine broke.

Gawain's eyes widened for a split second at the utter impossibility of sight before him, before the arrow slashed through his armor and into his body.

Ozymandias was in a field of fire as he gazed at the fallen form of Gawain, who was kneeling in the grass with his head bowed and his arms at his sides.

The sun was not shining as brightly as before, Gawain's current situation reflecting on the state of the sun.

Excalibur Galatine was broken in front of him.

"So I lost it" He said, a drop of blood coming out of his mouth in the process.

"Yes" Ozymandias nodded.

"I am ashamed" He continued: "As His Majesty's most loyal knight, I have failed to uphold the reputation of his invincible army as one of its most trusted knights."

"However" he paused, holding back a cough that caused a rush of blood to drip from his mouth: "I do not regret this battle" He muttered, "Devil King, you fought bravely... I, Sir Gawain from the Round Table, thank you."

His time was approaching.

Ozymandias knew and he knew himself.

"I lost this battle, Ozymandias, but the war is not over yet. I will give you a warning about us gods."

"We Cannot Be Extinct" He said, "Although heretical gods can be killed, as long as their myths, legends, and epic tales exist, there will come a time when we will resurrect as heretical gods, fueled by our impulse to rebel against our myth."

"And at that time, I will look for you again to battle you" He said calmly, with a small smile on his face: "And then we will fight"

Ozymandias shook his head, understanding that it was in his nature to pursue the battle for glory and honor. He would not be able to control his urge to pursue battle, especially against those who had defeated him to regain his honor.

Gawain grinned, and for a moment, to Ozymandias, he looked more radiant than he had ever been in Bertilak's armor: "Farewell, Ozymandias. I look forward to our next battle."

Slowly, Gawain's body became transparent, losing its substance in the world, before disappearing completely, leaving behind a ball of light, which entered Ozymandias' body.

Sighing, all Ozymandias could do was fall tired to the ground while smiling at the battle he had.

Some time later.

Ozymandias' golden eyes opened as he quickly got used to the lighting in the room.

As his eyes calmly looked around and Ozymandias realized he was in his hotel room he remembered what had happened.

Soon after he ended his fight by killing the [Heretic God Gawain] he had ended up passing out momentarily, the result of his body straining from using several of his [Authorities] in a short time.

Although he had several [Authorities] and always ended up acquiring several of them, Ozymandias had a limitation which was the cost of so many [Authorities].

He was not able to use more than one [Authority] at a time.

As long as he had one [Authority] active, Ozymandias could not use another, only if he was an [Authority] of the same [Heretic God] he could.

But through so many years with his [Authorities] Ozymandias managed to find a way to activate several of them at the same time.

In his fight against Gawain he had used the [Scepter of Ra] and the [Trinity of Heaven] which he usurped from Ra, the Egyptian Sun God.

Besides [Futsu-No-Mitama] he usurped from Takemikazuchi, the Japanese God of Swords.

The [Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi] he had usurped from Amaterasu, the Japanese Sun Goddess.

The [Divine Wisdom] and [Far-Reach] of Hecate the Greek Goddess of Magic.

And also the [Arrow of Rudra] that he had usurped from the Storm God Rudra.

There were [Authorities] from five different [Heretical Gods] used in a short period of time.

The cost was a great deal of his magic power and stamina, but it was nothing Ozymandias couldn't handle.

King Sun knew he just had to get used to it to be able to use his [Authorities] that much.

Ozymandias' eyes went to his chest as he saw that he was shirtless, the wound caused by Gawain had already fully healed, and he attributed this to his regenerative powers as a Campione.

Rising from his bed, Ozymandias stretched as his tense muscles relaxed.

King Sun had to admit that the battle against Gawain was more complicated than he expected.

Most complicated was Gawain's obvious invulnerability acquired during his legend as Achilles.

Obviously Ozymandias can't fight it all out, due to Alice and the population being close he had to restrain himself from causing too much damage.

If not for that it would have been very simple to kill Gawain, the Sun King had several [Authorities] who could take the Invulnerability of Achilles.

But everything had turned out well, and Ozymandias found it especially interesting the [Authorities] he had obtained by killing Gawain.

The first was the [Invincible Skin] which represented the legend of Gawain as Achilles, his impenetrable skin, with that [Authority] Ozymandias gained the invulnerability of Achilles, his body could not be harmed by any weapon, only his heel being vulnerable.

The second [Authority] was [Bertilak's Armor] which represented the legend of Gawain as being invincible during the day, with this [Authority] Ozymandias gained an extremely resistant armor that could absorb solar energy, furthermore during his midday real power was unleashed and he was rendered invulnerable by generating an aura of heat that incinerated everything besides being able to use the [Excalibur Galatine] without restriction.

The next was [Gae Bolg] who represented the legend of Gawain as Cú Chulainn who manifested the cursed spear that could reverse cause and effect and could kill with one blow.

Apparently Gawain hadn't used it during battle due to his confidence in its power and he only seemed able to use it at night when he was weaker, something that didn't apply to Ozymandias who could use it at any time.

And lastly was the [Excalibur Galatine] the sword of Sir Gawain, the legendary sister sword of the Holy Sword Excalibur, containing a sun in its hilt, its strength increases check closer to midday it is, besides being able to launch blasts of solar energy capable of burning everything besides concentrating it in the weapon to allow it great cutting power.

As she closed her eyes and concentrated on her new [Authorities] words instinctively came out of Ozymandias' mouth.

"The Sun Knight's sword, given to fulfill the will of justice. To cut the wicked, to slay evil. Come Excalibur Galatine."

When Ozymandias opened his eyes a flash of light appeared and when it disappeared a white and blue sword was revealed.

It was absolutely beautiful.

It was Excalibur Galatine.

Taking up the hilt of the sword Ozymandias felt the sword glow with joy, the [Authorities] also had a kind of conscience and personality, with some being easy to use and some not.

Ozymandias looked out the window as he watched the sun rise and rose as he slowly took a battle stance and began to brandish his sword lightly while using the postures he remembered Gawain using.
