Strongest in DxD - Chapter 27

Gently raising his hand, Ren picked up one of the cards and threw it up, and surprisingly it didn't fall, but just stuck in the air.

[Would you like to summon a servant?]

The system's cold, emotionless voice popped into her mind along with the message to which Ren nodded in agreement.

[Which class?]

Ren pondered as a smile formed on her face.

"Surprise me," Ren said as she smiled minimally.

At that same moment a light filled the card that crumbled into a blue dust and an intense explosion of magical energy appeared in front of Ren as a strong gust of wind advanced with it.

Ren stood still when unaffected and saw a figure emerge amidst the dust raised by the wind.

When the dust settled it was possible to see who was the summoned servant.

She was a young teenager with long white hair, tied on both sides with red tassels. She wears a red and black dress similar to a short kimono and a long European-style coat, complete with a high collar held closed by a rope tassel. She seems to wear long socks.

Even though it was the first time he saw her, Ren recognized who she was.

She was an Alter Ego servant, Okita Souji Alter, an alternate version of swordsman genius Okita Souji. She is a counterguard formed through the spiritual foundation of Okita Souji by taking a Holy Grail filled with seven servants and being supported by the counterforce.

Okita Souji's alter version opened his eyes to the world for the first time and focused on his master.

His master was tall, about six feet tall, had messy night-black hair, his eyes were a pale blue hue as he wore a modern outfit.

At the same moment Okita laid her eyes on her master she realized that he was not normal, even though his posture seemed calm he exuded an intense aura of danger and experience of someone who has already fought on dozens of battlefields.

But what surprised her most was the intense and immense magical power that constantly emanated from the human body in front of her.

All this analysis took place in less than a second when Okita knelt in front of Ren and placed his sword on the ground beside her.

"I answered your call, I am the servant Okita Souji, I am in your care master" said the genius swordsman.

Her voice was cold and emotionless, and at the same time her voice conveyed a sense of danger like a sword that would cut through anything.

"No need to bend over Okita," Ren said as his servant rose.

Okita got up and moved forward until he was in front of Ren.

"Well, my name is Ren. I'll just explain what's going on, I'll just finish summoning the other servants," Ren said calmly.

Okita's eyes widened slightly as she was surprised by her master's speech but waved and walked away as she stood further behind Ren and watched him intently.

Ren held up one more of his cards which fell apart in midair as another huge burst of energy emerged, making another gust of wind and raising another curtain of dust.

When the dust generated by the magical energy disappeared it was revealed to be a woman of medium height, pale skin, blond hair and yellow eyes.

She wears black armor with some red accents.

Accompanying it also had a holy sword, dyed by evil, becoming a black sword with red accents.

Beneath her armor, she wears a purple dress with white accents.

"I answered your call, I am servant of the Saber class, my real name is Arturia Pendragon" said the newly appointed servant as she opened her eyes.

Ren also recognized her, although she looked different from the original, this one in front of her was Arturia Pendragon, wielder of the holy sword from the planet Excalibur, or better known as King Arthur.

But the one in front of Ren was another version of King Arthur, one that had been corrupted by Angra Mainyu, becoming a Dark Saber.

Or better known as Arturia Alter.

When the corrupted version of King Arthur looked at his master, he actually focused behind him, on the other servant who was standing there.

"Master why is there another servant standing behind You?" asked Arturia as she tilted her head slightly to see Okita.

Ren let out a sigh, "Well, I'll explain this later. Firstly my name is Ren" said the Sekiryuutei as he watched Saber approach him and Okita.

Ren held out a hand pointing at Okita.

"Arturia, this is Okita Souji. The captain of the first unit of the Shinsengumi, a public order organization that operated mainly in the final days of the Kyoto Edo period. Even among the Shinsengumi, who was feared as a band of master swordsmen, who was admired as the strongest swordsman genius it was her," Ren said in an introductory tone.

Okita blushed slightly at the amount of praise her master directed at her.

Meanwhile Arturia nodded as she used her connection to the Throne of Heroes to acquire all the necessary information about Okita.

Ren turned to Okita and pointed at Arturia.

"Okita, this is Arturia Pendragon, wielder of the holy sword Excalibur and better known as King Arthur and King of Knights," said Ren introducing Saber who waved.

Okita looked in surprise after all it was hard for a heroic spirit not to know King Arthur.

"Nice to meet you"

"Pleasure"

Ren sighed at their cold presentation.

"Well, I hope you get along well, I'll explain about everything I'll just finish summoning the servants" said Ren receiving a nod from the two who were standing further behind him.

Reaching out Ren threw another of the cards into the air and when it stopped it fell apart and released a burst of energy.

Alongside the explosion a wave of dust emerged and as it lowered another servant was revealed.

She was a beautiful young woman. Her hair is straight and blond in very faded tones, to the point of being practically discolored; her strands are long long. Owner of smooth, youthful and pale skin, she has yellowish eyes that show a relentless coldness at all times. She easily attracts attention from those around her, for her slender and intimidating posture, no matter how small she is. She has a good physiognomy, including striking curves and voluminous breasts.

Her costumes vary according to the occasion in question. One is a shiny black armor, with sharp shapes at the ends of the elbows and shoulders. Underneath the metal parts, she wears black clothing, such as long socks, a long skirt and a black blouse. In addition, she makes use of a metallic helmet, which goes together with the armor, covering only the outline of her face. She even has a long black cape with fur at the collar, contributing to her somber characterization. His second set is a purple colored shield, in very dark tones. The design compared to the previous one is very similar, however, this one is accompanied by chains and belts, in addition to showing with greater emphasis parts of the body, such as the back and legs.
