Weekly Video Update August 22nd, 2025

Howdy Patrons,

It has been an absolute whirlwind of a summer. Between work, traveling, and hosting friends, I've really been stretched thin, as you can tell by my atrocious update schedule. Thank you all very much for your patience and I am happy to finally be getting back into the rhythm here. My headache inducing schedule this summer was mostly due to one major project: Shayne Vibe's Truth debunked: the white elephant which has taken up nearly all of mine and my editors time time since May. Let me tell you, it has been an absolute fucking slog. The Shayne videos have been really gratifying to make as I believe their message is important, but listening to this guy talk for months upon months has drained the life from me and my editing team. If you think his content is bad in small doses, you have no idea the crippling effects of Long Term Shayne Syndrome. Let me tell you, it aint pretty.

That said, I am beyond relieved to say that my team and I are finally wrapping up the Shane series with the last part (hopefully) set to release next weekend. The final episode (Part 3), will cover the rest of Young Earth Creationism and ALL of pseudo archaeology. It was enough content I could have split it into two, but there is no way in hell I would do four episodes on this guy. This episode will feature Professor Dave Explains as well as a thrilling finale, the Psuedo-archaeology Speed run: a rapid fire teardown of nearly twenty five of Shaynes pseudo-archaeology videos.

With this project finally nearing its completion, my team and I are excited to get to new, frankly more rewarding projects. I personally cannot wait to get back into the Poverty Point video filmed last winter on location with none other than Mark Brink, the site manager for Poverty Point. This episode will be similar to the Great Circle and Octagon videos serving as an archaeological spotlight on an incredible site. Along with this, I’m also working on a shorter video discussing how the late August date for the Vesuvius eruption that destroyed Pompeii is likely incorrect. It will be a fun little dive into some forensic archaeology analyzing the ruins of the city for clues as to the actual date of the disaster. This and of course, beginning to crack back into the REAL white elephant: Atlantis.

The other big thing that has made my summer so busy is one that has not been announced at all yet. Except to you, right here, right now. Thats right baby, this fall I'm going on tour! My producer and I have been working tirelessly to put together a fall tour for the Northeast with stops for lectures at universities as well as fan trivia nights at bars and tap houses. The dates and locations are nearly solidified, but all the info should be out by the end of August. I am so stoked to finally be able to officially launch it. I hope to see you guys there!
