Remind me not to try to reorganise my Daz 3D work drive and assets at midnight again...
For a few hours I appeared to have destroyed the relative addressing structure making all of the thousands of scenes I'm working on suddenly lose everything from textures and mattes to shaping morphs.
It was a bit of a twitchy moment, thinking that I'd ruined 8 years worth of work, when all I really wanted to do was clock off and go to sleep.
In the small hours of the morning I did manage to figure it out. It did require me to reinstall and reconnect all my content which took a while.
It turns out that it was actually a good thing, because dozens of my forgotten assets became visible again in my content library.
It really brought back a few old memories...
Of course, the best way to ensure things are working correctly is to render out a few images to test it all. It's sometimes nice to just pick a character and a location and just be creative away from the main storyline.
You may recognise the character above from her brief appearance in the original 'Date with Bridgette' game. She's not on a beach and she's wearing a bit more than in these images.
If you know who she is then please comment below...
It's rare that I render in square format aspect ratio. Shame really because I do like it...

I've since caught up on a few hours of missed sleep and have been back up a running properly again today.
Chapter Nine is coming together now and just needs a few more elements completing before release.
