Updating the updates

I've spent all day today gradually implementing updates across all the current chapters.
These will really reduce the size of saved games, and eliminate any duplication or incorrect save allocations in your profile.

Finding out the cookie limit was a real revelation and has spurred us on this week to fix several of the issues which were otherwise somewhat inexplicable.
In other words, knowing the cause was the route to the solution!

New coding
The new coding will be most effective on new game saves, especially those starting from Chapter One.
However, as long as existing saves have mostly correct data included, these will also be cleaned up if they are used to continue the story.

So if for example, you have a Chapter Three save with an accurate selection of achievements, then you should have no problems continuing to Ch4 and beyond.
Older saves, especially those dating from 2022 may be more problematic.

What you can do...
Firstly... Clear your cache to ensure that the most up to date code is being used.

If you have many saved games then I would suggest using the delete option to clear a few out.
If nothing else it will speed up the database connection to your account.

I advise returning to your profile page after saving your game at the end of each chapter.
This will not only allow you to confirm the your new save is there, but also ensures that the new coding has a chance to do it's job properly.
If at first you don't see a new game save, then use your browser refresh.

Also, avoid running the game in more than one browser window or tab.
