New website updates...

Some of you may have seen the site go into maintenance mode for about 30 minutes earlier today.
That's because we have made some very important and necessary updates to the dsp3000.games website.
Testing over the last few days has gone well and we have now integrated these changes onto the live site.

To summarise...

The playable content of the site is now split over three subdomains.
The chapters are grouped into three corresponding 'Acts'.

Act One = Chapters One to Eight (Monday morning to Thursday afternoon)
Act Two = Chapters Nine to Thirteen (Thursday evening/night)
Act Three = Chapters Fourteen to Sixteen (Friday morning to Friday afternoon/evening)

When you access the site you will still do so on the top level dsp3000.games domain.
All your account details and saved games etc remain exactly as they have been.
You only access the subdomains when you start playing a chapter.

Note that you can play each 'Act' as a stand-alone part of the series.
You can start the story at Chapter One, Chapter Nine or Chapter Fourteen without the requiremant to play previous episodes.

From your perspective, this should all be more or less seamless, you may however need to log in again when you transition from one act to another. At least the first time.

The new stucture has taken a considerable amount of time, testing and technical shuffling to implement and it's mostly thanks to the efforts of my long suffering developer.

The split was necessary due to the previously mentioned hosting bottleneck which was preventing us from deploying any new content.
We can now enjoy sub 8 minute deployment times with each minor or major update, rather than frustrating 20 minute time outs.
You should see faster image load in times.
And crucially, we can now add more content including the long awaited continuation of the Academy story.

It's also worth noting that you may benefit from clearing your browser cache to get the full sweep of updates.
You can manually do this in Firefox 'History > Clear recent history' options from the top right corner of your Firefox browser window.
Once again, it's worth re-iterating that we only recommend playing the games in Firefox.
