When I first started the Patreon, I was aiming at 4 comic pages and 4 illustrations a month, but I think October was the only month I actually hit that... I always try and make the illustrations and comics the best quality I can muster, but that tends to slow down everything, and it's made me obsess about hitting this self-imposed quota instead of making sure everything is looking awesome.
To give myself a bit of breathing room I'm going to shift to 3 comic pages and 3 illustrations a month, so that I'm not waking up in the middle of the night and panicking all the time. Smaller quota = better art, so this will help with that.
I think this change will greatly improve my mental health. Feeling like you can't relax for a single day out of the week is no good. I hope everyone understands!
