Patreon really seems to be doing everything they can to drive away business through content policing. I feel like in another few years another site will have come along with much less restrictive content policies and most artists in this space will migrate there.

I don't believe that this shift in guidelines comes from puritanical sensibilities, but influence from outside sources, and that Patreon perhaps has no choice in the matter. It's still a bummer, though.

Yes, my hypnosis content will go to my FA, Twitter, etc instead of Patreon. I could still use the funds from Patreon to fund hypnosis content without actually putting it on the Patreon itself, which would allow for continued regular hypnosis content. However, my business model is based around paywalled content, and this method doesn't sit right with me. I can still scribble out the stuff on my own time-- it just won't be as polished.
