Thank you! Each comic page (and every illustration) has a whole lot of drafts and stages to get through. Sketching is typically two phases: rough and refined. Then there's lineart. Then there's filling in the flat colors. After that is shading, then highlights, then specular highlights/motion lines/sound effects. Then the background is painted, and finally the word balloons cap off the process. So that's about 9 or 10 individual steps to get through!

2019-06-29 00:38:27 +0000 UTCI've only recently noticed how Meesh draws. It's scary and amazing how he does not 1, not 2, sometimes not 3, but about 4 drafts to get a final piece done. To quick sketches, lined art, solid coloring and eventually adding the bold lines and shading. So it's a bit more shocking to see it in comics, blows my mind!
