Thank You, Patrons!
Added 2019-11-20 03:51:12 +0000 UTCI saw the other day that Patreon was making today a "Thanking Patrons" day, and since my 3rd anniversary of my Patreon was not long ago, I thought it the perfect excuse to whip up a silly doodle of what my life may have been like had I not made a Patreon.
Long-time patrons know all about it, but at the time of my making a Patreon, I was running out of options for making art my living! I was burnt out on commission work, and had realized that it wasn't going to be viable in the long run for making a living, let alone saving for any kind of long-term goals. So I started the Patreon and gave myself six months-- if I couldn't earn enough money to make a living by that time, I'd pull the plug on it and look into a job that didn't involve art.
By the end of six months, I was making enough to survive and then some. Earlier this year, I was even able to eliminate all of my debt, including an enormous mountain of student loans! Saving for retirement or a house is no longer a pipe dream-- it could actually happen!
Patreon has changed my life, or more accurately, all of you have changed my life. Thank you for your continued support, and allowing me to be able to plan for the future. It means the world to me!

2019-11-21 04:17:12 +0000 UTCThe tagging system is only as good as the artists who make the tags! I concede that originally, I was limited to five tags per post so I couldn't get too detailed. Somewhere along the line they got rid of that limit, though... Patreon has its flaws and it's ups and downs, but it allowed me to survive, so it's pretty bitchin' in my book! Thanks for helping contribute to my life transformation :D

Usually I already have plans for comics and illustrations, but occasionally small elements that people have suggested find their way through. That Clara daki ain't a bad idea... but I don't know when I'll have time to design it. Glad the print came in! Haven't had a complaint yet about the quality :D

Since you mentioned commissions though, I had kinda been wondering if you ever did stuff like that any more or take suggestions, because there are some things i would love to see you draw or sell. (A daki of Clara with her legs spread while she's busy on her phone is my dream pillow, and I would spend a stupid amount of money for it). Also, my print of 'The Maid Splayed' came in, and I'm thrilled with the quality of the print and the vibrancy if the color. I'll admit it's on the expensive side, but God damn does it look good!
