It's like The New Fun Tier had a BABY!

Hope your weekend is going well!  

I've been in correspondence with some of the patrons who were unable to continue joining us here on Patreon in this community due to their changing financial situations. 

Basically, I've been told that given the circumstances $10 a month is a bit steep for many people at this point in time. I can empathize with that completely. I was also asked if I could do a lighter tier that only involved the streams. 

So I looked into what could be done. And I've made some adjustments and created some lighter tiers that will hopefully be able to accommodate those of you in a similar position.

I've created a $3 tier with the Lens posts and visual goodie and an $8 tier called The Fun Tier.  It includes the Lens posts, Music To Draw To streams and Pizza Break hangouts but doesn't include some of the other benefits. Patreon also just made yearly pledges possible and allowed creators to offer discounts on annual pledges. So I've set all the tiers up, including The New Fun Tier with a 16% discount (the most Patreon allows at the moment for a year long pledge) which works out to 2 free months.

I know! It's Saturday night! Why you gotta talk numbers? 

Well, the thing I most enjoy about Patreon is the friendly community vibes. Although I do appreciate the financial support, (Yes, every penny of your pledges is going directly to production costs of our current projects), I hate to see people have to leave the party early just because they can't afford to stay anymore.  

It's rough for everyone at the moment. So if there's some solace here, I want to make it as easy as possible for everyone to chill with us in some way or other. 

Billie Holiday once said her dream was to one day have a concert club of her own with "maybe a hundred, a hundred fifty people in it."   

Tours aren't happening at the moment.  So for now Patreon is my little virtual concert club, it is also the virtual tour bus.  And the virtual rehearsal space.  And the virtual aftershow pizza restaurant.  

I feel my brain rewiring on how to make this space a special and fun place to be. Remember when Beastie Boys' Mike D said "I've got a million ideas that I ain't even rocked yet!" ?

That quote literally encapsulates how I'm feeling right now. Like we're all on the brink of building something great. Thank you for being here.
